Land Surveyor - Building projects

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys and measurements to establish property boundaries.
• Use surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations and levels to gather data.
• Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps and legal descriptions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and contractors to provide accurate site data.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and land use laws.
• Maintain survey equipment and ensure accuracy in measurements.
• Verify calculations and resolve discrepancies in survey data.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Land Surveyor in construction or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in using GPS total stations and CAD software.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
