Job Overview
A Land Surveyor is responsible for measuring, mapping, and determining the boundaries, elevations, and features of land to support construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects. They ensure that all works are carried out according to approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land, topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
- Establish and verify control points, benchmarks, and reference markers.
- Perform site measurements and collect accurate field data using surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and Auto Levels.
- Set out buildings, roads, utilities, and other structures according to approved drawings.
- Prepare survey reports, sketches, maps, and as-built drawings.
