Ladle Operator – Continuous Casting Machine (CCM)

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ladles during molten steel transfer and casting operations ensuring safe handling and process continuity.
• Coordinate with the Crane Operator, Pulpit Operator, and Shift Supervisor for timely ladle movement changeover and casting activities.
• Inspect ladles, slide gates, nozzles, and refractory conditions before and during operation to ensure safe performance.
• Monitor molten steel flow and assist in maintaining stable casting conditions to achieve production and quality targets.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain housekeeping standards and report any abnormalities, leakages or refractory issues immediately.

Qualifications and Experience

• 12/ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in steel melting shop (SMS) or CCM operations.
