Laboratory Technologist -CVH Transfusion Med

Job Description

The successful candidate will perform routine tests and procedures within the Transfusion Medicine/Hematology Laboratory and will primarily work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized program for Medical Laboratory Technologists.
• Registered and a member in good standing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (C.M.L.T.O).
• Experience and demonstrated understanding of quality assurance and good laboratory practice.
• Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• High degree of initiative and self‑direction.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Engaged in continuing education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Recent experience working in Hematology/Transfusion Medicine.
• Available for all shifts 24/7 if required operationally.
• Satisfactory attendance and performance record.
