LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST (CONTRACT)

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Chemist, this position conducts qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses or experiments in laboratory for quality and process control of surface finishing coatings

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare standard solutions for chemical analysis.
• Conduct chemical analysis on plating solution to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Conduct test to evaluate plating coating quality.
• Ensure up-to-date calibration and documentation of all laboratory equipment.
• Maintain inventory and control in-house stock, reference standards, chemical reagents, and consumables and ensure that there are sufficient stocks for testing.

Job Requirements:

• Nitec in Chemical Process Technology or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• 1 to 3 years related experience in laboratory work.
