Laboratory Assistant, Workflow Operator

About the Position

The Laboratory Assistant, Workflow Operator (A2) will support the pulp storage function, work closely with the batching workflow team to assist the weighers in meeting daily output, and support laboratory operations in various areas in the laboratory through seasonal and workflow fluctuations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Use Webview to locate, transport and update disposition of client samples by workorder or digestion run number;
• Retrieving and staging boxes on carts for weighers;
• Returning and scanning boxes into storage after weighing;
• Clean and maintain labware and analytical equipment;
• Support weighing tasks as required;
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas at all times;
• Use correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality;
