Laboratory Assistant (Seasonal/Temporary)

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Laboratory Assistant to join our rapidly expanding team in Edmonton for a seasonal assignment until December 31st 2026. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Laboratory Assistant position performs routine and non‑routine testing assignments within the department assigned and ensures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. The technician must be proficient in core business skills including compliance to safety rules, code of conduct and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples and document receipt
• Inspect samples and sample information sheet, documenting sample integrity. Notify Team Leaders of any potential problems.
