Protech are looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant for a contract with a local council.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- End date: 2 October 2026
- Hours: 36.25 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- Salary: $69,639.57 pro-rata per annum
- Work with a reputable local council laboratory team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare laboratory samples, solutions, media and glassware
- Perform routine laboratory testing and basic analysis
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment, and safety standards
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including autoclaves and dishwashers
- Assist with stock control and ensure adequate supply levels
- Enter and process analytical data in LIMS
