Lab Technician (Ref: Technician 2026-01 EP)

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Lab Technician to work in Prof. Emilio Palomares’ research group. This position will be funded by the project ELECTROVOLT PID NB from the Spanish Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Synthesis of small organic molecules following established laboratory protocols.
• Characterization of molecular properties using techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectrometry (MS), thermal gravimetric analysis, cyclic voltammetry, and UV–visible and fluorescence absorption spectroscopy.
