A large global organisation is seeking a Lab Engineer to support and administer laboratory IT environments. Responsibilities include managing laptop and desktop hardware, configuring/ maintaining lab PCs, managing licenses and ensuring reliable network, backup & printing services.
This will be an initial 6-12 months+ contract with the opportunity for multiple extensions.
This position will be based on-site full time in Madrid, Spain.
Key Skills/Responsibilities: Solid experience working with recent and latest OS platforms (Microsoft and Linux/IOS a plus) Manage hardware inventory Laptops and Desktop Systems Troubleshoot and repair hardware/software issues Provide support for laboratory printing issues Configure, install, patch compile and manage licenses for PCs within laboratories Work with external vendors and organisation owners to resolve problems with lab systems Ensure network and backup needs of end users are being met related to lab PC connectivity Do...
