L2 Network Engineer - Routing & Switching

Role & responsibilities : Role Summary :
The Network L2 Engineer provides advanced operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring rapid incident resolution, service stability, and execution of network changes within a 24x7 global operations model.
The role requires strong technical troubleshooting capabilities and close collaboration with L1, L3 teams, and vendors to maintain network performance and meet agreed SLAs. Key Responsibilities :
- Incident & Event Management : Own and resolve network incidents escalated from L1 or monitoring tools, ensuring timely service restoration and proactive remediation of network events.
- Change Implementation : Execute approved changes across routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing platforms in line with governance and risk controls.
- Operations Support : Deliver BAU network operations across LAN, WAN, and data centre environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
