Overview
The position works at our distribution center in the plant, overseeing the packaging of hardware for our products. The Kitting Supervisor is responsible for successfully managing the day-to-day operations of the Kitting Department. The Kitting Supervisor responsibilities will also include inventory management, safety oversight, and training and development of employees, and ensuring the daily needs of internal and external customers are met to enable on‑time delivery and high customer satisfaction. The position will also cross‑train with other supervisors within the DC.
Responsibilities
- Manages a group up to 20 employees, reporting to the DC Manager
- Has excellent planning and foresight experience in a fast‑paced production environment
- Monitor production and align a kitting schedule that will provide complete packaged kits of parts to the team
