The role:

Supporting the Kitchen Manager and leading the kitchen operation in their absence

Preparing and overseeing breakfast, lunch, evening meal and wood-fired pizza services

Preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard

Maintaining excellent standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness

Supporting stock control, ordering and stock rotation processes

Assisting with food cost control and minimising waste

Supervising and supporting kitchen assistants and junior team members

Assisting with training and development of apprentices, students and trainees

Working closely with the Front of House team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, allergen and health & safety regulations

Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
