Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and properly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage areas
- Dispose of garbage and food waste in accordance with sanitation standards
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed (e.g., peeling, chopping)
- Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaned items
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times
- Support cooks and kitchen staff during peak hours
- Report broken equipment or safety hazards to supervisors
- Perform other kitchen-related tasks as assigned
