Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in meal preparation and cooking.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Wash dishes and kitchen utensils.
• Stock inventory and assist with food storage.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Support staff during busy service hours.
• Handle food waste and recycling properly.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: High/Senior High School diploma required.
• Experience Level: Less than 1 year in a kitchen environment preferred.
• Skills and Competencies: Strong cooking skills, knowledge of kitchen hygiene, and ability to work independently as a self-starter.
• Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen setting with potential exposure to heat and noise.
