As our Junior Sous Chef , you will work with the Head Chef & Sous Chef at Simbambili Game Lodge to deliver a 5-star memorable dining experience to our guests, while actively participating in food preparation, kitchen operations, and team supervision.

What you will be doing

• Take responsibility for various kitchen sections including but not limited to hot, cold and prep kitchens
• Ensure all stations are fully prepared and stocked before and during service
• Ensure efficient and smooth running of all meal services including bush dining experiences
• Ensure proper food rotation (FIFO), labelling, and storage practices
• Assist with stock control, monitoring, ordering and receiving of deliveries
• Assist in minimizing food waste and supporting budget control initiatives
