Overview
The role of the Junior Project Developer will be to support the identification and structuring of project opportunities in the renewable energy sector, with a view to achieving the company's strategic objectives. As part of a multidisciplinary team, he/she will participate in the prospection, analysis, and selection of renewable energy projects, analyze calls for tenders, and participate in the coordination of bids and other activities to support the project development team.
The selected candidate may be based in Montreal (head office) and must be able to travel within Ontario, or be based directly in Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Analyze elements that are essential to the viability of projects, including:
- Prospection and identification of project opportunities
- Environmental considerations associated with the site’s fauna and flora
- Permit requirements at the municipal, provincial or US State levels
