We are looking for a creative thinker who loves to work with their hands to build novel devices and scale them. In this role you will design and fabricate bench‑scale mechanicals and implement new equipment into our pilot line. This role is instrumental to the development of our unique plant‑based fish manufacturing process and will help transition our production from lab scale to pilot line scale.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D CAD models of mechanical designs from hand drawings
- Plan, design, and perform experiments
- Conceptualize, design, and fabricate laboratory equipment and mechanicals
- Create standard protocols for maintenance and inspection of the machinery
- Source materials and tools required for prototyping
- Provide all teams involved with instructions to operate or troubleshoot machinery
