Junior Java Developer: Backend & Systems Upgrade

Ascent People Ltd is seeking a bright Junior Java Developer to join our Manchester client’s team. You will develop and maintain the back‑end decision engine while replacing in‑house systems, and you will also enhance core websites and third‑party systems under the guidance of the development team leader.

Ideal candidates have Java, JavaScript, JSP, Struts, Hibernate XML, Grails, Tomcat, Linux and databases, plus a degree in CS and at least one year of commercial Java experience.
