Junior HVAC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and drafting of HVAC systems including ductwork, piping and equipment layout, ensuring compliance with project specifications and building codes.
• Support senior engineers in performing load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Conduct site visits to gather information, inspect installations and troubleshoot issues, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Prepare technical documentation such as equipment schedules, submittal reviews and project reports with a focus on accuracy and clarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is highly preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant internship or co‑op experience in HVAC design or mechanical systems.
