Thurber has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Geotechnical / Geological Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.

Thurber is a specialized consulting firm with a focus on geotechnical engineering. Our project work includes transportation, large and small infrastructure, natural hazards, development and more. We undertake challenging assignments that can include steep terrain, deep foundations, compressible soils, landslides, contamination, or other complications.

As our Engineer, you will work on varied projects and develop your skills with guidance and mentorship from our senior team. This is a junior level career position and will be comprised of field and office based responsibilities, with opportunities for continued career growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage a wide variety of geotechnical projects to meet our client’s needs as well as maintain Thurber’s safety and quality standards.
