We are seeking a Design Release Engineer (DRE) to support the design, development, validation, and release of Chassis, Powertrain, and Frame components for current and future vehicle programs. The DRE will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Design, CAE, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Purchasing, and Program Management to ensure components meet performance, quality, cost, and timing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design release process for Chassis, Powertrain, or Frame system components.
- Develop and release 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA V5 or Siemens NX.
- Manage engineering changes (ECN/ECR) throughout the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate with suppliers during prototype and production development.
- Support DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, PPAP, and design validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
