Junior Civil/Structural Engineering Specialist

Overview

The Civil Engineering Department within Candu Energy is engaged in nuclear civil engineering work involving structural analysis, civil design, ageing management to support life extension, plant modification, and service work of existing Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) and New Builds. Civil/Structural engineers will perform structural and seismic analysis, seismic margin assessment, structural design check, and assessment of structures, systems, and components. They will prepare and issue analysis, design, and assessment documents and support engineering teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Your Role

• Perform structural analysis, seismic qualification, structural design, and ageing management for various systems.
• Prepare design calculations for steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures in compliance with CSA standards and relevant codes.
