Role
Participates in material requirements planning, negotiation and is responsible for purchasing simple materials and services, taking into account cost, quality and delivery within defined limits and according to identified decision levels. Able to purchase items included in overhead and provide support for building services purchases and capital expenditures previously negotiated by a more experienced buyer. Receives specific assignments with regular supervision.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Support and participate in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers.
- Analyze received bids and place orders within established authorization limits.
- Perform follow-up activities for purchase orders and shipment tracking information to ensure on‑time deliveries.
