The Material Planning Specialist is responsible for supplier management of the OpCO issued purchase orders and ERP scheduling requirements, to coordinate suppliers and order execution by suppliers of multiple components, subassemblies, raw materials, finished goods, production equipment, and supplies from approved suppliers within the assigned commodity areas that are utilized to produce OpCo Portfolio Finish Goods
The Material Planning Specialist will be responsible for optimizing the procurement and sourcing supply chain, follow up of key KPIs and metrics and developing standard work and training others as may be required from a best practice perspective.
Works as part of cross-functional team.
