The Nitty Gritty
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, as a Jumbo Operator you will be responsible for advancing underground development safely and efficiently. You’ll carry out development drilling, charging, and ground support, while maintaining safety, identifying hazards, and meeting site standards.
What you Bring:
- Demonstrated competence in the safe and efficient operation of the jumbo drill and installation of ground support.
- Demonstrated to be capable of meeting productivity standards (metres advanced).
- Demonstrated ability to read ground conditions and drill designs.
- Demonstrates an ability to undertake daily servicing and routine maintenance of the jumbo.
