Jr. Manufacturing Engineer (Tijuana)

Overview

Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Jr. Manufacturing Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing technical assistance for new and existing products, facility layout, capital equipment, and tooling requirements for manufacturing operations.
• Essential Functions:
  • 1. Able to confer with Design Engineering on manufacturability and testability of new products and bring new products into manufacturing:
  • a. Ability to understand molding, machining, & stamping design concepts and interact with Design Engineers in technical discussions around these processes.
  • b. Ability to tailor process development around expected volume and duration of the product.
  • c. Possesses a good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing usage.
  • d. Familiarity with new product introduction project management systems.
