Journeyman Millwright (Sherwood Park)

About the Role

Amrize is looking for a Journeyman Millwright for our Exshaw AB Cement Plant. Millwrights are responsible for ensuring both breakdowns and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment are completed in an efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly way.

This position is offered as a 12‑month maternity leave coverage contract with a possibility of extension.

What You’ll Accomplish

• The ability to troubleshoot problems.
• The ability to inspect and test equipment and make appropriate decisions.
• The ability to operate light mobile equipment, motorized manlifts and overhead cranes.
• Must be competent in PPW, to be able to add comments at the end of shift.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
