Reporting to the Logistics and Inventory Manager, the Item Master / Component Technician will support the operations and engineering teams by ensuring that all consumables, materials and services are identified and coded consistently and in accordance with engineering’s technical definition. This role is essential to maintaining accurate and up-to-date part records, which are critical for effective purchasing, inventory management and production processes.
What you'll do:
- Maintain the master file, establish product configurations and ensure data integrity and accuracy in the ERP system;
- Create new product items: spare parts, consumables, materials, equipment and services in the ERP system;
- Establish product bills of materials (BOMs) and update product information in the ERP system, leading the process with cross-functional teams;
