Responsibilities
- Supporting and servicing of Bank’s request for hands‑on engineering function at Bank’s Datacenters.
- Troubleshooting any hardware related issues.
- Installation of related software as required for Microsoft, VMware for hypervisor layer. On‑site and on‑the‑job training can be picked up and learned as the RE progresses into his job functions. The RE is not limited to above software, if he’s a keen worker, he can learn and install related software such as Red Hat, Chef, Veritas as per X86 Cloud RFP software stack.
- Installation and configuration of servers, KVM switches and cabling work.
- Server decommissioning and upgrade activities.
- Patching of latest software updates as required.
- Diploma in IT/Computer related discipline.
- 2-3 years related working experience.
