Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Manager in the operation of all computer hardware and / or software installation and maintenance.
- Serve as secondary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware and / or software.
- Manage technology/asset life-cycle. Ensures that necessary equipment (PCs, servers, telecom-related etc.) is ordered and available.
- Accountable for disaster recovery and business continuity as it relates to technology.
- Foresees, identifies and resolves system(s) performance problems.
- Ensures technology assets are secure and well-maintained in accordance with Rixos policies and standards.
- Data Communication.
- Installs monitors, maintains telecommunications equipment including cabling and providing technical guidance as needed.
- Performs add/move/change/delete operations.
