IT Operations Associate (Status: Closed)

The role of the IT Operations Associate is responsible for the full delivery and implementation of the unit’s plans (Network Operating Center, Server, Database, and Network). This position requires the delivery of work and allocation of resources to requests so they are serviced within agreed Service Level Agreements. This role requires high coordination with other teams to deliver the service, balance resources based on demand, manage vendors, and perform operational reporting. This role functions to serve a shared service unit for Rail & Non-Rail.

• Monitors and analyzes network devices within MSE office, servers hosted at data centers, and across the lines using Nagios and PRTG.
• Devices from Rail are monitored, informing the maintenance team on the field about the status of the device. Continuously monitors the device until maintenance confirms the device availability has been restored.
