Position Summary
The role of the IT Operations Associate is responsible for the full delivery and implementation of the unit’s plans (Network Operating Center, Server, Database and Network). This position requires delivery of work and allocating resources to requests so they are serviced within agreed Service Level Agreements. This role requires high coordination with other teams to deliver the service, balance resources based on demand, manage vendors, and perform operational reporting. This role functions to serve a shared service unit for Rail & Non-Rail.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors and analyzes network devices within MSE office, servers hosted at data center and across the lines using Nagios and PRTG.
- Informs the maintenance team on the field about the status of Rail devices. Continuously monitors the device until maintenance advises that the device availability has been restored. <...
