Position Summary
The IT Onsite Support Technician serves as the primary onsite point of contact for technical support, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and maintaining end-user productivity. This role provides hands‑on troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and IT service delivery for internal customers.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage onsite support tickets and remote technical support
- Respond to technical issues via phone, email, chat & on‑site support
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and escalating issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty as needed
- Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
- Monitor site to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Support overall IT initiatives for migrations, patches and updates as assigned
