Responsibilities
Equipment Automation Development
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Equipment Automation Programs (EAP) for assembly and test manufacturing equipment.
- Implement equipment integration using industry-standard protocols such as SECS/GEM.
- Support equipment recipe download/upload, remote control, and process parameter management.
- Integrate new production equipment into the factory automation ecosystem.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors to develop and validate automation requirements.
- Perform equipment buyoff, qualification, and factory acceptance testing.
- Ensure seamless data exchange between equipment and manufacturing systems.
- Provide 24/7 support (on‑call when required) for equipment automation issues impacting production.
- Troubleshoot communication failures between equipment and host systems.
