iSeries/AS400 Application Maintenance Engineer - Europe based

Our client is undergoing a large-scale technology transformation, including replacing approximately 85% of its systems within the next 12 months. During this transition, there is an urgent need for experienced technical resources to maintain and support legacy iSeries (RPG-based) applications in a containment mode while the internal team focuses on the transformation initiative (Mayfly).

The role is structured as a fractional, managed-service engagement with a flexible monthly hour allocation and a 12-month expected duration.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for legacy iSeries (RPG) applications to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor system health, logs, and batch jobs to ensure stable daily operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EDI integrations and wholesale dealer processes.
