Iron Ore Analyst

As part of Oldendorff’s 20-person global research team, this role will focus on supply and demand analysis of the global iron ore and steel markets, with additional exposure to other metals and ferrous products such as bauxiteand manganese ore. The role works closely with the Head of Global Steel Raw Materials, freight traders, and fellow analysts to prepare and communicate short- to long-term forecasts that support internal commercial strategy.

• Conduct supply and demand analysis of the global iron ore and steel and bauxite markets.
• Support the desk head and freight teams in developing business strategy through detailed market analysis.
• Develop and maintain databases, forecast models, and reports to support formulation and communication of market views.
