Position Summary/Description:
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Spine Physiatrist to practice at the UNC Hospitals Spine and Imaging Center. The physiatrist will primarily care for patients with back and neck pain, musculoskeletal problems, and acute / chronic spine disorders. Must be able to provide comprehensive clinical care management and trained in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided procedures, including epidural, facet, and sacroiliac joint injections. The physiatrist will work closely with a multidisciplinary spine care team and departments with a focus on non-operative treatments such as physical and occupational therapy.
