Job Summary
The Material Management Lead is responsible for establishing, monitoring and controlling strategies, policies and guidelines for Materials Management by commodity and/or program to improve relevant KPIs. They identify, support, manage and implement (when required) process improvement opportunities with stakeholders to improve inventory flow and accuracy. They organize and manage knowledge transfer of material flow best practices to Supply Chain Management professionals and others. The Material Management team is divided into two workstreams: Inventory Planning & Governance and Inventory Performance & Control. The first workstream prepares guidelines and parameters for adequate supply, while the second focuses on post-delivery actions to maintain proper stock levels.
