THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION IN THE INTERNAL AUDIT DEPARTMENT.

GENERAL SUMMARY

Perform operational, financial, and compliance audits within the Credit Union to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and external laws and regulations.  Review records, documents, shares, loans, policies and procedures, financial and operational processes and electronic information in accordance with regulatory requirements. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Conduct independent audits and examinations of credit union branches and records (shares, loans, accounting, collections, etc.) to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the NCUA and other regulatory agencies and internal policies and procedures of the credit union.
