The Role
Ensure the effective, controlled, and timely management of engineering, process, and product changes, guaranteeing proper internal evaluation, implementation, and formal approval with OEM customers, in compliance with APQP, PPAP, customer-specific requirements, and applicable automotive standards. Ensure adherence to core quality fundamentals at the Torreón plant.
Responsibilities- Support the engineering change management process (ECN/ECR) for product and process changes.
- Ensure proper documentation, evaluation, and implementation of changes.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Production) for impact assessments.
- Assist in customer change approvals under APQP / PPAP methodology.
- Verify compliance with plant quality fundamentals.
- Support internal audits and documentation reviews.
- Maintain updated records and tracking systems related to changes.
