As an Intern – Field Services Coordinator at Canam, your mandate will be to assist the Field Operations Manager with managing and supervising a structural steel erection project. You will be based out of the Mississauga office in Ontario and will be required to travel to the assigned project site as and when required. The standard working schedule is onsite Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Start times may vary depending on the site schedule and needs. In this role, you must be willing to work overtime if required to support the job site, teams and schedule.
Duties
- Collect data on site and update the construction schedule (MS Project, Smartsheet, Google Workspace)
- Produce erection progress and site daily reports (Projectsite/AutoDesk, Trimble Connect)
- Assist the Site Superintendent with quality control
- Follow up on the delivery schedule and validate delivery slips
