Intern Engineering Designer, Land Development

Job Summary

TYLin is a globally recognized, full‑service infrastructure consulting firm. We are seeking an Intern/Co‑Op student to join our City Solutions Team in North Toronto for the Fall of 2026. The role offers hands‑on experience on municipal infrastructure projects such as roads, sewers, water mains and other land development work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of proposals and project schedules.
• Assist with feasibility studies, functional plans, and preliminary/detailed designs for private and municipal infrastructure.
• Prepare full sets of civil engineering drawings, including grading, servicing, plans and profiles, erosion & sedimentation control plans, and others.
• Assist in the preparation of contract specifications and tender packages, including quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.
• Assist in applying for and obtaining necessary permits and approvals to proceed with construction.
