Responsibilities
- Carrying out 3D modelling with software such as Sketchup etc.
- Perform solar energy production analysis from designed PV systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers to design photovoltaic (PV) systems, including system components to suit site condition and in accordance with solar engineering standards (IEC, Singapore Standards etc).
- Assist in ongoing design and development of electrical single-line diagram, panel schedules and connection diagram for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Assist Solar Engineer to prepare review of PV system specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
- Assist engineer in conducting site-survey to gather information for the design.
- Assist engineers to prepare, manage and follow up Project Documentation.
