Intermodal Equipment Operator – Adecco

Adecco is currently hiring an Intermodal Equipment Operator for an exciting opportunity with one of Canada's leading transportation and logistics organizations.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, operating heavy equipment, and working in a fast‑paced outdoor environment. The position begins as an on‑call basis with a minimum of two‑hour notice. Successful candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand and horn signals to safely guide Heavy Equipment Operators.
• Assist with loading and unloading containers, trailers, and chassis from railcars.
• Lift, carry, place, and remove inter‑box connectors (IBCs).
• Set up railcars and ensure proper container and trailer placement.
