Our financial services client is seeking a Security Developer to design, build, and defend scalable, secure application systems, with a robust focus on application security automation and identity flows ( Hybrid, Calgary AB 1 day/week onsite ) ( -50 ).

Overview

This role safeguards the confidentiality and integrity of digital assets by embedding Security‑by‑Design across the product lifecycle.

Must Haves

• 5+ years in application security and secure software development within enterprise environments
• Hands‑on expertise in OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and JWT for identity and access architecture
• Experience with SAST, DAST, and SCA automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in Threat Modeling (STRIDE) and implementation of Security‑as‑Code frameworks
• Relevant post‑secondary education in computer science, software engineering, or cybersecurity
