Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Must have or be eligible for BC Teacher Certification
- Experience working with First Nations students
- Good communication skills, self-motivated, compassionate, empathetic, and enthusiastic
- Ability to manage challenging student behaviors
Knowledge and Experience
- Primary Programs: Read Well, Saxon Math, Acadience Reading
- Intermediate programs: Reading Mastery, Six Minute Solution, Jump Math/Math Focus, Corrective Reading, Third Quest
- Effective classroom management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of First Nations culture
