Intermediate Specialist, Academic Avising

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Supervisor, Academic Administration, this position creates an outstanding student experience by providing guidance and advice on academic development, such as course and program selection, to ensure an exceptional student experience and student satisfaction. The incumbent plans and executes interventions, gives advice to students facing difficulties, increases student success and retention rates, and builds strategies and programs to increase enrolment and visibility by promoting the University, programs and the Faculty's services at various on‑ and off‑campus events.
