Carpenter Apprentice
Intermediate Level (Year 2 or 3)
If you’re a developing carpenter who takes pride in quality work and wants to learn the full scope of residential construction, from start to finish, we want to hear from you. Sonbuilt is committed to high standards, strong values, and building homes the right way. We’re looking for a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice who is ready to step up, expand his or her skills, and contribute to a professional and dynamic work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Framing floors, walls, roofs, and installing structural sheathing
- Installing insulated concrete forms and building footings
- Preparing for and assisting in concrete pours
- Installing doors, windows, stairs, and interior trim
- Reading residential house plans
- Using builder levels/lasers, layout tools, and cordless tools
