Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer (North Bay)

Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer to join our Markham office, with consideration for other Ontario locations.

You will be part of the Water Resources Technical Team within Stantecs Environmental Services Business Line.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop hydrodynamic models using MIKE 3, MIKE 21, and Telemac to support coastal and river engineering projects, including environmental impact assessments, remedial designs, and risk evaluations.
• Apply a strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, with proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and PCSWMM.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive technical reports documenting field investigations, analytical findings, and interpretations.
• Support proposal development and assist in creating work plans, project schedules, and budgets, while managing assigned projects and tasks.
